Arabic Calligraphy: وبشّر الصابرين

Hussein Majed حسين ماجد

Mr. Majed, a Lebanese calligrapher, was born in Kherbet Selim in South Lebanon in 1935. He studied Arabic Literature, worked in the Educational Center for Research and Development, and taught Arabic calligrahy in different institutions. He regularly participates in exhibitions and designs book covers and logos for publishing houses.
Mr. Majed lives in Beirut.

خطّاط لبناني، من مواليد خربة سلم، قضاء بنت جبيل في جنوب لبنان عام 1935. مُقيم في بيروت
مُجاز في الأدب العربي، ومُتقاعِد من المركز التربوي للبحوث والإنماء
له مشاركات في معارض عدّة، ومُساهمات في برامج تعليم الخط في المدارس وفي دار المعلمين. صمّم أغلفة كتب و"لوغويات" للعديد من دور النشر اللبنانية والعربية
